Book as a group, and book early
Group bookings unlock lower per-person prices on flights and hotels, and the earlier you commit, the better those prices are. Waiting rarely saves money on a trip like this.
Travel just outside peak season
Shifting your dates by even a week or two, either side of the busiest holiday periods, can cut the cost of the same trip noticeably. Ask about quieter departure dates when you get your quote.
Spread the cost with instalments
Paying a deposit followed by small monthly instalments is far easier than finding the full amount at once. Set the plan early so nobody feels the pinch near departure.
Set a daily spending limit
Agree a sensible daily budget for food, souvenirs and extras before you leave. It keeps everyone on the same page and stops the last few days becoming a scramble.
Know what is already included
When breakfast, guided activities and transfers are built into the price, students only need spending money for lunches, dinners and treats. Check the inclusions so nobody budgets for something they have already paid for.
